SOLD 1997 Warwick Thumb 5 bolt on

    I purchased this Thumb from another member not long ago. The bass sounds and plays amazing and was made in Germany in 1997. Gorgeous ovangkol body with wenge neck and board. She's built like a tank but there are a few minor cosmetic bumps and bruises, mostly to the headstock. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. There is some fretwear but it is most noticable on the first fret. Very minimal everywhere else. Prior owner must have played with a lot of horn sections. The trussrod functions flawlessly. The MEC pickups and preamp are all original and are in perfect working order.

    Selling for $1,300 shipped and paypalled to the lower 48. No case at this price but I will double box it and pack very well.

    If you prefer, for $1,600.00, I will include the following upgrades:

    - Schaller black strap locks
    - Levys black padded strap
    - Warwick flight case
    - Hipshot ultralight tuners - U.S. - black
    - Warwick beeswax polish
    - Warwick trussrod wrench

    Feel free to PM me with any questions. Only selling because I prefer wider string spacing. Not looking for trades unless you've got the same bass with the broad neck option.

    I'd say it's an ovangkol body.

    I had a 97 5 string thumb, sold it years ago. Still miss it...
