1998 Ibanez Prestige 4 . It wasn't called the Prestige then, but it is 100% Ibanez made in Japan Prestige quality down to the last detail.

It is officially the (rarer) SR1010. I honestly don't know what to call it, but the differences are so minute that if you are reading this, then you may know both models already and find that the differences come down to mono rail bridge vs heavy duty A type bridge. At the end of the day, it's still a flagship Ibanez.

    - 1998 Ibanez SDGR
    - Solid mohagony body
    - 5 piece wenge, bubinga, neck
    - 24 fret rosewood fretboard
    - 1.5" wide nut, 34" scale neck, 12" radius (same as Peavey Cirrus, Alembic)
    - Bartolini NTMB 4.6 preamp wired in 18v. Volume, Blend, Bass / Treble stack, Mid with Mid PULL for variable mids
    - Ibanez soapbar pickups made by Bartolini for Ibanez. DEAD QUIET !!!
    - All Ibanez hardware.
    - Side input jack. Allows you to stand the bass up at break time and the cord won't break off
    - Weighs about 8.5 lbs

This bass is KILLER. Stupid low action, set up perfectly, slap and finger monster, Pro Level bass all the way. It is studio and live ready NOW. It's dead quiet when on and delivers the goods when played. Nice growl, cuts through the mix, plays like a dream, and is your friend on 4 hour long gigs.

$750 shipped in a nice gig bag

Just FYI, that neck is only wenge/bubinga (the middle stripe is just darker wenge) and the body is mahogany.

    Thanks, I'll change the OP.
So, basically that makes this bass more like the SR3000 than the Prestige.

Thanks ! It is a SWEET bass. Considering you're a Fodera guy, that says a lot, too.

Price lowered to $750 shipped !! THIS is a boutique bass by any standards, folks. I am only selling it because I'm back to my Cirrus.
