For Sale 1998 Kai Arvi #90 w/ hard case!

For sale: Kai Johann Arvi Double Bass #90 (1998, Canada) with fiberglass hard case. $21,000.

41.5” string length, D neck, 7/8 size. Original owner. Played extensively, mostly in professional and conservatory orchestras, and well broken in. However, it has been immaculately maintained with no cracks or noticeable scratches or dents, and has never needed repair. It has lived in FL, TX, OH, AZ, and PA with no issues, and handles climate changes well. Recently appraised for $24,000 and described as in excellent condition.

Recent masterful re-setup by Mike Shank, with new cut bridge and sound post, and reshaping of fingerboard and neck. As a result, it sounds and feels noticeably better than it ever has!

Included is the fiberglass hard case that has escorted this bass on approximately 2 dozen flights without any issues. The case has some nicks but is in perfectly serviceable condition. Also included are a Mooradian soft case and a wheel.
