1X15 or 4X110?

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by dfreeman, Nov 15, 2002.

  1. I have a SWR working mans 350, and a Hartke VX 4X10 cab. I was originally going to add a 1X15, but now im thinking about another 4X10. it seems that I have enough bottom end already and a 1X15 would be overkill, so what would you recomend, 8X10 or a 4X10, 1X15 setup?
  2. The only person who can answer this is YOU. This is kinda like talking about riding a bike. You can talk about it all day but you will never know what it is like til you get on it and ride. I've used both setups and I can honestly say that I liked them both. (I know, I'm no help)

...same here...but one thing the 1x15 gives you is an option for a little different sound as opposed to just 10s --- although 10s are just flat out awesome by themselves. Guess I can be as unhelpful as Grey Beard :D
