2 tweeters, what to do?

    :cool: Hi there , I recently bought a Mesa boogie M-pulse 600 head , and powerhouse 2x10 and 1x15 cabinets ,both cabs have tweeters , What should I do? should I turn off one of them? if so , wich one? need some advice over here... tkx!

    Listen with your ears, not your eyes.

    What does it sound like with 2 tweeters going at once? Try out a few combinations and see what sounds best to you.

    There is a discussion going on another thread about turning tweeters off. Apparently some manufacturers advise against it because it causes problems. Would the technically minded care to comment on this?

    I reckon I'd jest turn the treble down a bit. Yep.

    Yeah, I don't turn my tweeter on that high, a lot of people like it off too.

    The best solution for tweeters in bass cabinets!

    (Ducking behind my tweeterless 15" cabs...)

    Better to have tweeters you can turn off when you don't need them than no tweeters when you DO need them :p

    Like others said: use your ears. They are always right :cool:

    Yeah, better to have it if you do need it even if you don't use it :p ;)
