I had a rough week this week and I pulled through and accomplished many things I was concerned I wasn't going to be able to. I want to reward myself now by dropping around $200 on a toy for myself (bass or music related of course). Went through MF catalog a few times and haven't seen anything yet to light my fire.

What would you get if yer were gonna just throw $200 to the wind?????

  2. I would get a lot of beer, but that's just me.

  3. A Fender Stage Lead 2x12 combo amp! (I know it's OT but I found one for $195 with a silver face...is it tube or SS?)

Anyway...effects. That's what I always go for. In fact, I'd like to sell my Boss Metal Zone, Flanger, and Bass Overdrive! ;)

    Congrats on $200, btw! :D

done that :D...I pre-spent a bit of my " bonus " on a used
BBN4F Yammer at G/C. Matter of fact, it was exactly $200.
It's the older type with two J pups - not the newer model with
    those gawd-awful ...Anyhooooo, there's always the ultimate
Mingus collection: The Complete Debut Recordings. 12 discs,
    anyhwere between $160 to $190.

I wouldn't waste $200 on something you don't want that much.

  9. Some ideas...

    1) Korg rackmount tuner.(y'know the knight rider thingy) About $180

    2) Sansamp Bass Driver by Tech 21 @ $180

    3) PX38 Pandora's box about $190

    4) Yamaha digital drum pad DD55. About $240, but this is great to practice with.

    5) Sony minidisc player recorder MZR-700. ABout $200

    6) Layaway a Shure UT-14 wirless- about $350, but it's range starts at 20Hz, much needed for bass.

    7) Money order for $193 overnighted to Christos.:D

    8) Some show threads from Trash and Vaudeville.

Or a postal money order in the abount of $199.30 to Big Wheel:D

Actually, you could reward yourself by getting a nifty Avatar next to your name by sending Paul $20.:)

Did I mention the chat room?;)

Good point! There you have it Joe! If you have some money to blow and want to spend it on music related stuff. Maybe you should get a inecpensive keyboard to noodle around on? After you become a supporting member of course. :D

  12. Good idea, $20 for paul. That leaves $179.30. Hmmm $89.65 for me $89.65 for Big Wheel, yeah that works.:D

200 towards a nice wireless (no more X-wire, gumble, grumble...), which is the next, and last item on my list of stuff I need before it changes from "need" to "want"

If I was you I'd become a supporting member and then buy a wireless!!!

You know, you should have had a poll!!:D

FWIW - The last $200 or so I spent on a want was a new end can for a bike that looks a lot like my avatar!!!

    Edited:- Spelling and another thought!

    OK! OK!

I've been feeling guilty long enough and Paul made the Pay Pal directions a little easier to uderstand. I am finally a supporting member. Gotta go search for an avatar now. $180 left. I may buy weights with it though. I realize I'm quite content with all my musical toys - have a wireless already that I rarely use (not sure why) - have effects that I never use, have a bunch of basses....

Whatever. Thanks for the push to become a supporter. Maybe I can finally get some sleep now.
