3/4 German bass from the 1790's. Carved back with gamba corners, all ebony fittings, 41 1/2 string length, dark brown oil varnish, adjustable bridge and raised adjustable saddle. Has a nice warm, sweet and focused sound appropriate for jazz, solo or chamber music, that can only come from a fine instrument of this age. Was fully restored in 1994 and remains in excellent condition, and comes with a Mooradian bag. Was used to develope the prototype for the Underwood pickup and does amplify like crazy. Asking $9500 and I'm in Nashville TN. Email at firstname.lastname@example.org for pics or questions.
