    2000 American Fender Precision Bass.

3 amazing things about this bass:

    1. Color - Beautiful greenish blue "Aqua Metallic Blue" (similar to lake placid but deeper with a touch more green)

    2. Build Quality - I found it to be much finer craftsmanship than recent MIA's I've tried. Neck is SOLID, stable, frets are well dressed.

    3. Tone - The only reason I would hesitate to let this go is the perfect P Bass tone. The sound is tight and focused but still gives a lot of growl - its just perfect P. The tone control is VERY responsive and gives a wide range of tone. Perfect voice for recording.

The rosewood is dark and smooth. No fretboard wear.

$800 shipped CONUS in a nice roadrunner case (pictured)
$775 shipped CONUS in a heavily worn Alvarez case (not pictured)

Condition is near mint - one small rice sized ding on the back.

I might be wrong, but your color of choice would be blue huh? :D great color on the P though! Surprised you parted with the SR5. Bump for an awesome TB'er!

Since I got your SR5 I was addicted to metallic blues. Only parted with it because I got a Chrome Blue Dingwall Super P which sounds huge - but also costs huge  I miss the ray already and will surely miss this P as well!

Man that is a nice P bass, how is the neck, does the truss rod work fine with no issues?
