Welcome to talkbass Barbu. First thing's first....don't use all capital letters-we don't like it. Secondly what's the poll for? Anyway enough of me being an a$$hole. As far as the whole lack of the birdeye maple neck I wouldn't worry about it. In my opinion normal maple sounds better. Regarding the matter of lightness, how much lighter is it. Are we talking like a few ounces or something like two pounds. Every instrument varies slightly in weight but it shouldn't be very drastic, if it is you may have a problem.
