I reserve the right to pull this ad if I come to my senses, but here goes... I recently picked this incredible Wal Mk3 with Walnut facings up after regretting selling mine years ago. It's exactly what I was looking for and is lightweight too! Anyway, I've got a big $$ Sadowsky that I've been attached to for years, and it more than covers the handful of gigs I've done lately. It's in great shape and I just had the frets crowned & leveled so it plays beautifully with nice low action. I'd most likely regret this, since the Mk3 4-strings are the most rare Wals out there and we know that used Wal basses don't come up often anyway. For an almost 17 year old bass, you'd have a hard time finding a nicer one out there. *American Walnut Facings *Mahogany Core *Indian Rosewood Fretboard *Year Nov. 2000 *Right Handed *Serial # W221100 * Only 8.8 lbs!! I got a great deal on this and would only be looking to break even for what I paid for the bass. (Not including the fret work) $6300 shipped & insured (Lower 48) Here's the link to the original ad: SOLD - 2000 WAL Mk3 American Walnut Facings, Mahogany Core
I just said "OMG" out loud to my computer screen...and my wife yelled from across the room..."noooooooooooo!"..... I could have been looking at dirty pictures...but no. She knows me TOO well. ugh. My gosh that would nearly end my GAS. ...just incredible.
Believe it or not, it sold a couple hours ago. I'll definitely regret it, but right now it's a lot of money to have tied up in an "extra" bass.
