I had decided to keep this but due to financial reasons I have to post this one for sale again.

The neck is dated 2000 but since this model was not even available until 2001 we shall call it a 2001. Everything is factory including the drop D tuner and G&G case. Alder body, rosewood fretboard, full 1.75" at the neck and the already mentioned drop D tuner. The neck is stunning to play. There are only four minor blemishes. One is a small indent on the top of the neck near the headstock which you can see in a photo. It does not affect the playability of the neck. The second is a ding near the bottom strap peg which can also be seen in a photo below. The third is a small indent on the front that is too small to photograph. Fourth is a small hairline finish crack near the neck pocket which is common on basses with tight neck pockets. Fantastic bass all around. As you can see the neck has no "made in the USA" as it was a pre-Skyline modal and they were all MIA. The neck heel has Dan Lakin's initials which he verified with me.

$1750 shipped in the USA. No trades. Feel free to make an offer I sadly need to move this along quickly.

  5. Sadly I really need to move this bass so I dropped the price a bit and am also open to reasonable offers.

  6. Beautiful. I'll say it again, there is some really special kind of magic with these early Laklands. So comfortable to play.
