(In my opinion...) This bass is head and shoulders above the new Laklands that cost nearly twice as much! There is absolutely no comparison with the overseas (55-02) models.
This bass feels like your favorite pair of well worn jeans.

This bass is in excellent condition for it's age. The quartersawn maple neck is straight and solid as a rock. It has a beautiful maple fretboard with lots of nice figuring and birdseye. The trussrod works great and the frets are in great shape.

At first glance the bass looks perfect but it does have some evidence of being played. It has a couple of tiny tiny dings that will take forever for you to find an are impossible to photograph.

The original Bartolini pickups and preamp are intact and working perfectly.
This bass plays so nice and it sounds incredible.

Between 9-9.5 lbs that balances perfectly and feels much lighter. Really light for a 5 string.

Includes a Lakland tweed hard case Dunlop Dual design strap lock buttons

I am not playing 5 string basses anymore so I'm passing this along at a great price hoping it will be loved.
