Only the second one of these I have ever seen for sale, and the first one looked like it had been rolled around on the floor with. This one happened to be a mint condition 2003 Schecter bass. I have tried everywhere on the internet to find information about this bass, such as how many were made, who designed it, where were they shipped to, how can I better understand the serial number, etc. I have already emailed SGR and received no answer from them. I get the feeling this was a very limited run of basses. I was hoping someone might be able to give me some information beyond just the year of manufacture. I love the absolute kitsch of this bass, plus it plays and sounds great, very beefy. SB-1 Ghost Flame, a 34” scale, set maple neck in a mahogany body, with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and a full length black abalone flame inlay. EMGhz pickups and a two-band EQ. It also has a Tusq nut and a Hipshot custom bridge in black chrome with matching black chrome tuners. Substituted Gibson speed knobs for the stock telecaster knobs.
