This is a Feeler! I’m looking to trade my beautiful 2004 Fender American Vintage 57 precision Bass. This bass I got in a trade and is definitely really worn in cosmetically! I’m just not a fan of sunburst. Truss rod works perfectly and I got this bass sitting in an extremely low and fast action. (THATS my taste!). Would love to trade this for an American Vintage 50s or 60s precision bass or even an American vintage 57 or 62 Precision Bass. I just prefer any color over sunburst. So please if you have anything up to trade don’t be afraid to DM me. Any questions please ask!
It had a badass bridge and the previous owner let it build up and I removed it to put a regular fender bridge.
Just to be clear, I don't doubt the bass. ... It looks great. ... Does it have raised pole pieces, like 57-reissues have, and maybe give an idea of what the plate serial number starts with? ... I'm not sure when Fender changes from Vxxx to the next stage of their serial numbers. ... Fifty years from now people/players will wonder what Fender was really up to from 1980 to 2020. ... Because the first 30-years were easier to understand. ... Like I said nice bass. ...
Yes the a string magnet on the pickup is raised. It’s from 2004 from the replies. The neck says 2004 I verified with Jason smith from Fender Custom Shop.
