My house needs painting, so I'm having to sell a couple basses.
This one is a 2004 USA Fender Jazz that has been upgraded with CTS solid shaft 500k pots and Nordy NJ4's. In good condition, there is a ding behind the first fret on the neck, but it's very shallow and doesn't bother me at all. Couldn't get it to show in the pics. There is also a small ding in the rear of the headstock right next to the serial number. Action is low with no buzz. Sounds Killer. Comes with Fender molded hardshell case.

$625 plus actual shipping to U.S. only.

Paypal e check or money order only. No trades please.

May I ask, why 500k pots? I thought 250k (audio taper) was the norm for Jazz basses. Maybe Nordstrand recommends this? Nice lookin bas BTW! :D

not sure on the 500k. I'm assuming Sirbass had them put in, he was the owner before me and i think he gave it all the upgrades.

  12. Do you think the ding behind the first fret could be sanded down to make it less obvious.
Maybe with some ulta-fine steel wool? I'm interested.

You should come see me at Wild Wing Cafe in Marietta on April 25th.

i never heard the stock pups in this particular bass, but as compared to stock fender pups in general, i'd say it's pretty close. if anything it's a bit less.
