    Discontinued non-Rockbass Warwick Vampyre (German made).
    Set neck (S/N) model, 'Piano Black' high polish finish over a maple body, 26 frets, two-piece bridge and 'Just-A-Nut III', original MEC J/T-J pickups & active MEC 2-way electronics with active bypass via push-pull pot, jumbo bronze fret wire. Ovangkol neck with wenge fretboard, black hardware.
    In near-mint shape with a powerful Warwick sound. Comes with genuine 4 latch 'Coffin case' and Warwick accessories including locking security strap pins & truss rod adjuster.
    4.6 kG instrument weight (approx. 10 lbs.).
    Asking $1900 plus shipping (TBD), insurance extra.

    Man, if I were righty I would work to get this. I had a 4 string version of this bass in lefty and let me tell you.. the oversized body and pickup/electronic package RULED. These basses sound huge!!!! I am a huge fan of the dual J at the bridge position.

  6. No argument here - There was some idle thought on my part to replacing the original PU/electronics, but frankly why bother? Different, not better, IMO - Absolutely nothing wrong with them. And as you've said, the dual J at the bridge (with built-in splitting capacity) is a big component of the instrument's overall sound.
