    REDUCED PRICE

This is virtually brand new. Has case (but case is dented -- closes fine though) and is strung with Chrome flats. Sunset orae was an added cost color ($150). Roughly a little over 9 lbs from what I can tell. Has S1 switch.

The neck is just too much width for me since I play Peavey basses mostly and they all have jazz necks...thought I'd like it since my Skjold is larger neck than a jazz. No luck (might have to get rid of the Skjold even) with that little experiment.

    Neck says Dec 2004 so I guess it's a 2005 model.

    $725 shipped

    Price reduced again.

This is a very good playing/sounding Fender with a Swamp Ash body. I just can't take the transition from the P bass neck to my Jazz neck Peaveys, or else I'd keep it.

Is anyone interested in trading necks on a Jazz perhaps?

This is a beauty, Steve and I'm surprised it's been up this long. Wish I could swing it...

Maybe check out the basses I've listed and see if you see anything trade-worthy? The St. Blues I'm listing is a wee bit thinner that at the nut than the '62 RI I'm trying to sell, naturally. But both essentially vintage P, so perhaps they're just too wide for you as you've described..

Anyway, good luck and I'd go for it in a heartbeat if I could spare the $$$.

Still available...but not sure how long. I might buy a Jazz neck and that would take care of my issues, but I'd rather just sell this.

Still looking for a new home for this. I will make what should be my last reduction in price to $730 shipped on this. I might just get another neck and use it...

An S1 switch is a button integrated into the knob that when depressed gives a different sound to the bass...a little more jazz sounding.

Several nice offers on trades, but I really need to thin the selection of basses I have.

Remember this is an upgraded American Precision color / Swamp Ash that was $150 additional.

    Let's try $725 shipped.
