I can't go lower than what I'm asking. What I'm asking is pretty much $100 Canadian dollars more than what a store offered me for it.

All right, listen up you Southern toronto bassists! I'm going to sell this bass to 12th fret in exactly one week. They said that they would give me $1150 for this bass, Canadian. I would rather make a private sale as it is less hassle, and the money is up front. I will sell this bass for $1150 Canadian if you pick it up. I don't want to find a box, ship it, wait and see if the thing breaks in transit, etc. We all know how much of a drag that is.

The bass is mint. Tags, case, sticker on the pickguard, no scratches, shiny, nice frets, etc. Everything you get with the bass originally you get here. I'm selling because it was an impulse buy and it's been hanging around my neck ever since.

They offered to sell it consignment, which always has sounded dicey to me w/ all those teenagers getting their grubby hands on the merchandise. 15% is what the going rate is here in Toronto, it seems anyway.

 

This sucker is off the market, temporarily, anyway. It's now hanging in a high end Toronto music shop on consignment. For more than what I was asking for, BTW.
