Stack looks great! I know it doesn't bother some people but the matching cabinet widths is a much nicer aesthetic than this:

Great pic JimmyM! V4B/SVT810 - hard to beat for tone IMO!

Funny you say that...in the manual for the Micro VR stack, one of the big selling points they highlight is that it's smaller than Stonehenge.

A shot of my V4B on top of a '73 SVT and a Heritage 810. In full monolithic form, I have had the V4B on top of the Blackline SVT on top of the Blueline SVT but was told it look ridiculous so I took one off the stack. :D

I have a Micro VR stack but have not tried stacking those on top of an SVT or V4B....yet!

My back wouldn't let me stack that many heads on one cab.

My back now hurts from just looking at an SVT let alone trying to pick one up.

Would you believe I make my roadie do it?

On a more serious note, I would love to figure out a way to get some of the Heritage grill cloth to cover an extra SVT and V4B front panel.

I wonder if Ampeg would let me order a new 810 Heritage grill assembly as I own one (and for a reasonable amount). I could pull the cloth to do what I want and still have 3' left over.

And yes, I know it would be easier to get a silver/blue Fliptops grill for the 810 but a like the black sparkle look on the big stack.

People on TB buy parts directly from Loud. Not everything is available but it never hurts to ask. It helps if you have your model number and registered serial number available when you contact them. Here is their number.

So how does the reissue sound while really riding the tubes hard? I'm looking at either the 100t or this and don't use clean tone at all. Can it get that chunky/distored goodness?

    Sounds darn good to me.

  13. In case anyone needs a soft cover, I provided the reissue V-4B amp specs to Tuki and they made a cover in 24hours!

Price was $49.00 plus $12.95 shipping via FedEx ground (to Florida).

Sorry, the pics aren't the best but you'll get the idea. It's a little easier to see the detail when you click on the images.

I'm holding out for Ampeg to start making them, but I don't know how much longer I can wait.

I can ask, but we generally send people to Tuki if it's something we don't make.

    Hello

The link just went to a generic Ebay search - no specific item.

    But you have me curious:)
