This is hard for me to do this, because I love this bass, it just an amazing instrument. But I not currently playing and I decided to just keep just one bass. I don’t want this bass to sit in my closet. This is a Sadowsky MV5 Limited Edition 5 string model (serial #6844) that features a highly resonant Ash body with a gorgeous Dark Cherry Metallic high gloss finish and a White Pearloid pickguard. There were only 20 made; ten were 4 strings and ten were 5 string basses. (I verified this with Roger). The bas is a 34" scale bolt-on Maple neck has a 21 fret Maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. The pickups are Sadowsky "J" and they are run through an active Sadowsky 2-band eq. system with an active/passive switch. The bass also has a Sadowsky VTC "Vintage Tone Control" that allows you to get the more traditional vintage tones. This bass has a great punch and clear sound that cuts perfectly, a true players bass. The action is super low (picture posted); it has brand new Blue Label nickel strings. Still have the plastic cover on the preamp cover and pickup guard. I give the bass a 9 out of 10, because of some superficial super small scratches and one slight finish crack on each side of the neck pocket. This is only in the poly and in no way structural they are hard to see or to take a picture, they are not noticeable. This bass comes with a Sadowsky lightweight travel case. The bass is sold.
