An Updated Bass for a New Decade of Music!
There's a new generation of serious bass players who demand more from their instruments than ever before. Fender's back with a new lineup of bass guitars for a new decade of music, with an updated version of their classic American Deluxe Precision Bass®. The beautiful American Deluxe Precision Bass®features all-new electronics and a killer new pickup system that gives you tons of headroom and even more tone options than ever before. If you're looking for clean tone that stays smooth even when you crank it up, the American Deluxe Precision Bass is the axe you've been waiting for!

An awesome active/passive preamp switch, a 3-band EQ, and pickup-switching controls give you full command over your tone. Speaking of pickups, the American Deluxe Precision Bass also comes with a hot new N3 Noiseless™ bridge pickup that adds glorious overtones to the signature P Bass® Deluxe split-coil pickup at the neck. But the sound isn't the only smooth thing about this bass. Rolled fingerboard edges and a contoured heel make the American Deluxe Precision Bass comfortable to play and give you easy access to upper frets.

Beyond its ultra-smooth contoured heel, Fender's American Deluxe Precision Bass also features a redesigned neck that includes a robust 5-bolt plate and Posiflex graphite neck support-rod system, for unrivaled stability. Another thing you'll appreciate, especially if you've ever had the battery go out on your active pickups in the middle of a show, is the newly designed battery compartment. This compartment's cover uses flat head screws, so you can open it with a coin or a pick. And to make sure your baby stays safe, FENDER® even includes an SKB molded case with TSA locks.
