    This is a really great example of an American Standard Jazz Bass. 2008-2016 is the "golden era" of the AS series imo. I much prefer the neck profile on these to the new American Pro. Series. I've owned multiple American Standards over the years, and frankly this one is the one I've enjoyed the most. I'm simply shifting to something different.

    Only weighs 9.2 lbs. which is pretty dang light for a jazz bass. I was able to set this up with really low action and it plays great up and down the neck. It's currently got a fresh set of DA 45-105 round wounds on it.

    This is the model that came standard with the custom shop pickups. It's all original to my knowledge minus the strap buttons, and the saddle screws/springs. I always change the them to stainless steel because the black ones look cheap in my opinion. I will include the originals with the bass as well as the neck adjustment tool.

    What a beauty! I totally agree with you on 2008-2016 as the “golden era” of Fender basses.
