    Hello everyone,
It's that time of the year again. The (almost) annual PacNW Bass Player's GTG is booked! We're at a new venue this year! Everyone is invited that can or wants to attend.

This year, The High Dive has graciously agreed to host us. Just like in 2014, the terms for us have been very agreeable. There is no required cover or entry fee. I do ask that you consider lunch, dinner and/or getting some drinks while there.

Please check this top post for updates and news (I will also post in the thread, but will continually update this post).

    When
    May 14th, 2016
Vendor load-in is 10am, general doors open at 11am. We have to start leaving at 6pm, and must be totally out the door no later than 6:30pm.

Please do not show up prior to 10:30am unless you are a vendor. I would like to give vendors plenty of time to load in, get setup and any drinks or food prior to the event.

    Where
The High Dive, 513 N 36th St, Seattle, WA 98103
    Google Maps

    Vendor list
Regenerate Guitar Works & Honey Badger Pickups*
    American Music
    Kalium Strings (tentative)
Fractal Audio - unofficially, but I will be there with several of their products and information

    more Vendors to come!
Vendors with an * next to their name are participating in this years Door Prize / Raffle!

In 2014 we had about 77 people show up. The venue I had selected was a bit too small. This year, it is a bit bigger and better laid out. Sadly, it will still be one room (perhaps next year I'll get a venue with multiple rooms). Please be respectful with your volume.

I realize this is a good time to try out some new gear. I may coordinate a time towards the end (say from 3:30 to 6:00pm) for louder "testing" ;)

I'll update this top post as I get more things setup. I just confirmed the venue, date and time today (with assistance from @Basszillatron ).

If you intend on coming, or just have general thoughts, feel free to post here. It'd be cool to get a somewhat accurate guess at headcount (and be very cool if we get to ~100 visitors!) and what gear will be showing up.

I might bring my upright, but it will depend on how many folks are bringing rigs.

Please, all, if you know any of the Seattle/Portland/Vancouver (BC or WA) folks, direct them to this thread. I used to spam folks with a PM, but there's a lot of people I miss that way.
This is of course open to all bass players, so if someone wants to fly in from NY again, they're welcome :D

I don't work Saturdays. At this point, I see no reason why I couldn't attend.

Regrettably, having a date that everyone can make just isn't possible. I got myself too mired down in trying to make that work last year. This year, I decided to just set a date and whoever can come, will be there. I will miss no Veronica this year though :(

Wishing I could make it. I have to save as much paid time off as possible for my wedding in July. Have fun, fellow bass players!
