The fun-per-dollar ratio on Kilotons is considerable, these MFD pickups are more powerful than is usually legal in some states. Almost at the end of a retirement purge moving out some redundancies, this one is only on the “sell” stack as I have a blue Kilo 5 that is magic. The factory upgrades are a quartersawn neck, ebony fret board, matching headstock, and a white pearl pickguard. Dressed up in handsome Tangerine Metallic, passive volume and tone with a parallel / single / series switch for far more versatility than people may commonly think they have. Right at 10 pounds on the digital bathroom scale, sitting or standing well balanced and comfortable. Includes the little black packet of paperwork and the tolex OHSC also in excellent shape, $1100 and we split shipping. ***Oops, the local buyer (and friend) fell on a bit of hard times and I took it back to hopefully help ease his load. I put a 3-ply tortoise guard on it, see the pictures below. I am normally a white pickguard guy but I think that the orange and brown just pops on this bass, plus it looks great with the ebony. You get both pickguards***
It looks like less than 19 mm spacing by the pics. The bass looks phenomenal. I’d buy that thing in a second if I were still in the market. This one sells fast. Watch out boys and girls.
Ever since my Yamaha BBP35, I've been a passive fan...NEVER used to be. This bass would look sweeeet on stage.
