    Firstly, this is an awesome bass! It's reduced in price because it has a cracked headstock, a finish crack on the back, and several dings on the back. I bought this as a guitar center clearance bass 2-years ago and apart from the appearance, this things plays just as well as the $2k new ones. The headstock crack hasn't moved or caused any tuning issues (was gigged over a year w/ photographed damage), and the electronics all work as they should. The roasted neck is amazing and it has super nice action! Low 8's in weight and awesome balance. As-is w/ the photographed damage, but looking beyond these issues, this is a killer deal.     LOL! Precisely! I'm not sure what Guitar Center did to this poor thing, but thankfully it still plays and sounds awesome. It's a survivor!

    If it was Glenn Burnie, they had an employee attempt to put a bass back up on the top rack and ended up with a domino effect that dropped all of the basses on the top row. I believe that employee's name was "former" employee.
