For Sale: 2018 Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Precision Journeyman Relic

Offering this beauty up for sale again-picked up this fine instrument here on TB last December.

SOLD - Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Relic

A wonderful example of Fender's Custom Shop work. This Precision is Fender's newer Postmodern version with a very cool Journeyman relic. Sports a fantastic and coveted CS hand wound 62 P Bass pickup, same as the CS Pino Signature bass. If you'd like to play a Precision but the wider traditional neck was a challenge, this may be the Precision for you with a comfortable relic'd quarter sawn Jazz bass neck (9.5' radius, contoured neck heel, 1.48" nut width.) As the previous owner attested, this bass is made to be played and is so comfortable weighing in at only 8.5lbs. Bass will ship with brand new TI flats for a classic and powerful tone-a traditional vintage Precision in all its glory! Only selling as I've got too many basses right now. Here's a video from Fender on the CS Postmodern Journeyman Precision.

I’ve said it before and will say it again. These are some of the best P basses out there. If I hadn’t just gotten mine back I would be all over this!! Plus this is a pretty good price considering they are now going for upwards of $3500 new!!

    GLWTS!!

I seriously pondered this one when last for sale. But now I have two CS basses, so I reluctantly need to watch this one go. Should be a pretty terrific playing and sounding instrument.

Just would like to echo some of the positive sentiment that has already been shared. I have a 2018 as well and love the neck and tone. If you like the Precision bass sound but prefer the jazz bass necck, this is the bass for you. Nice price too.

    GLWTS!
