I have had a couple of these (my other one has flat/tape wounds) and I must say, the Nate Mendel Signature is a great version of the precision bass without spending too much money. This particular bass (Serial Number MX19003185) is particularly special. The neck is excellent and, like all my basses, has been sanded and oil rubbed for faster playability and excellent feel (no more sticky lacquer to deal with). Weighs in at 9lb 14oz and well-balanced. It's a joy to play.

This model comes with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickup (excellent p-bass tone!), Fender HiMass bridge and lightly aged/Road Worn, nitrocellulose red finish.

Comes with all original paperwork, including the optional Fender/Foo Fighters neck plate. This listing also includes a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag (brand new. Still has the tag on it).

I've been thinning the herd a bit and this is actually the newer of my two Mendel Signature basses. Looks, feels and plays great!
