I might consider a trade, but only for either a shorter scale bass (nothing over 32” scale), a lightweight 5-string, or a pre-1970 Fender Jazz or Precision with narrower neck. My preference for shorter scale basses would be 5-strings, but I’m open to 4-strings as well, either fretted or lined fretless. That said, feel free to run anything by me. The worst that could happen is a polite ‘no thanks’. If you have a trade to propose, please send me a PM with details/pics.

    Thanks for looking!

Just when I thought I was immune to GAS for the foreseeable future.

You uh...happen to have a weight on this work of art?

I may be wrong but I would double check international shipping on Brazilian Rosewood. CITES seems to allow other RW species but not Brazilian. Wouldn’t want to hear about anybody’s bass being confiscated.

Beautiful basses you have for sale, BTW. GLWTS’s

 Believe me, I understand your reaction. I have been relieved on many occasions when the weight of a bass saved me from giving into the impulse to buy it!
Actually, I’m surprised it weighs as much as it does because it doesn’t feel heavy to me, and I am very weight sensitive due to spinal damage/surgeries. I think it feels lighter than it is because the weight is well distributed and it balances extremely well on a strap.

D’Mark basses are incredibly well made and beautiful hand made instruments. I have an Alpha model and love it. The electronics are fantastic. These basses deserve more attention.
