$20G for a '57 P Bass?

    He won't get that much locally - I don't get these dudes that think people are walking around with $20,000 in their pocket...he'd be better off trying to sell it on Ebay, to a Vintage store, or lowering his price WAYYYY down

    Stupid question perhaps but can leaving a bass in a case untouched for 32 years cause problems? (neck warpage, electronics??).

    Did they really make those cases back in the 70's? Hard to believe he just bought a case for it out of the blue three years ago :bag:

    A '57 P is no longer a bass, it's a collector's item. If I had one and wanted to sell it, I would *not* sell it on line. I'd contact a reputable dealer and get it appraised before I did *anything*.
