24 Fret Fender Jazz

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by MikeyFingers, Nov 26, 2005.

  1. Is this new or have I just never seen one? I just found out that Fender makes a 24-fret Jazz. I've never seen one with more then 20. I want it!

They're really beautiful and the neck's nice, but playing near the neck (think Geezer Butler) really feels awkward to me on this bass. But it sounds good anyways. The mid-scoop button is kinda useless though, IMO.

The bass is 700 new minus case but maybe about 500ish used but its only been out for a year or less so i doubt you'll find too many used ones....Ive been checkin the music stores but haven't found one to try out...Bass Guitar has a review in the latest issue.

Lots of new threads about this one lately, seems it's really catching people off guard.

It's a good bass, but for more responses, a search is in order. It looks like a jazz, somewhat feels like a Jazz, but for all intents and purposes, it's not a jazz to me.

Aye, but it is a good bass. If I played fours I would seriously consider it.
