Well, I am already planning my next bass!!! but I am a bit devided... I am thinking of a Four string 24 frett sadowsky, or a Four string 24 frett Fodera?

    Thoughts, sugestions, ideas?

    (NO FENDER)

Just for those of you that say "Why buy a Sadowsky when you could get a Fender" well, Fender sucks. A lot, A sadowsky and a Fender are Nothing alike, A custom shop fender could NEVER compete with a Sadowsky. OK Suggestions.

EDIT: I play Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rock, and Progressive metal, I am not shure if I was gonna go Full on Custom or not... Maybe JP or Nordstrand or Elrick, I am not exactly shure yet...

for that money, what about a JP Bass? I'm sure they would make a 4 string for you.

you'll have to wait longer than usual for this.

he doesn't offer one as a standard model yet.

Since the basses you are considering buying suggest that you have oddles of cash to spend, I would say get something completely custom, not a Fender copy. If I had a money tree that's what I would do.

But in the reality I would get something cheaper (1200-1500) that sounded and felt great and save a ton of cash, instead of spending a lot on a custom.

I don't know about their Basses, but ESP makes some really sweet custom guitars...

I second the Fodera VW series. For the money, it seems to be a great deal. I'd also check into Roscoe or Elrick on the used market.

    Anyone know for sure?

The Lull Modern 4 would be a great deal as well, and from what most people say, it's a close second to Sadowskys.
