Nice, but I'm afraid I'd try to lick that finish off.

On second thought, might take too long. :)

    wouldnt it... flake off?

14-20 karat, ok... doable... but 24? Gold is way to soft...

Well, I guess they couldn't get any more expensive. I wonder if one would turn my body green?

If its a type of plastic, ew :-/ They way they say 'body material' makes me think its not wood. I already hate the Ibanez plastic things, this is just a more expensive version..

  9. much more expensive version....

ya its not like danelectro plastic (which are great basses i might add) its like a high grade synthetic material to make it sound fancy... ;)

  11. Those humbuckers scare me. They're so huge.

  12. hehe, i love ritter electronics
if you think those are huge, check out the quattrobucker-4 coils of madness
    those things kick ass
they also have slimbuckers, which act like single coils i imagine

I believe it is a polymer material they use for the body. If they used wood, the constant swelling and shrinking of the body would cause the gold to crack and warp.

I saw that seal at the NAMM show a few years back. Very nice, but too bling for me. I'll take black, please.
