I am stumped, no idea. I don't really have any needs currently, but I will soon have this budget to spend after some sales.

I don't own any of the following, but I don't see any as an urgent need; tremolo, octave up, synth, flanger, HPF/LPF, bit crusher, ring mod, designated pre-amp with XLR DI

What would be on your short list in this price range?

So you are saying you want to order a Bananana Matryoshka synth pedal?

A nice bottle of scotch and/or wine.

IME if you're going to buy pedals for the sake of owning them and not using them then they'll just collect dust and you'll lose money when you inevitably sell them. You'd be better of using that money on something else you need and/or saving it once you ultimately decide on what pedal you want.

You should buy my Big Game / Dunn Effects CVLT (and have a lil extra leftover $)

250 is burning a hole in your pocket, huh? I know that feeling.

Honestly, you'll probably get the most use out of a preamp pedal di, followed by an hpf/lpf, followed by your favorite time based effects.

I know I leave my preamp pedals (sansamp, MXR 10 band) and hpf (Fdeck, any series is good) on ALL the time, which is worth the investment. The others are just fun. Like the EarthQuaker devices Hummingbird tremolo. V3 has an expression input, which can do wicked, wild stuff.

    Good luck on your quest!

  7. I'd be sending a meme to @Azure Skies with my wish list and the money, and see what shakes out.

    Alternatively, check out his store:

Some of the Southampton stuff also hits a number of your marks - the Utility Knife comes to mind.

Excellent suggestions above, the OmniCabSim Deluxe is another good pedal in that price range. REALLY useful tool.

Save it... so in a few months you can make a post asking which $1000 used bass you should buy.

  12. I'd also consider an Earthbound Audio Iron Pig... Mark is running out of LM308 chips and that pedal may be the state of the Rat art.
