    Hi guys.

    I'm thinking about swapping my head+cab for a portable 2x10" 400W+ combo.

The combo should work well with my BEADG-tuned fiver and with my EADG-tuned acoustic. It should have enough power to get me heard at small to medium sized venues and it should manage an extra 1x15" cab if I decide to get one.

I've narrowed the search down to this trio, depending how much I decide to spend.

Please list any pro's and con's if you've tried these amps yourself. I really can't make up my mind..

    Cheers.

I have the Markbass 102 combo. I absolutely love it, coming from an original SWR Workingman's 15. I play a 4 string but I've read on this forum it can handle the low B. It's fairly light for all that power, cuts through the mix with punch and pitch clarity, and has a great solid bottom end. The EQ is simple but great - one knob for a vintage effect (Jamerson, here I come (I wish!)), and one for a really modern mid cut sound. Plus a four band tone control with lots of range. I am not familiar with the other models, but you won't regret the CMD 102P.
