how big is a 3/4 sized guitar normally ?

And will it have any effect on sound, technique etc ?

    Thankyou

My older brother's old Fender Musicmaster was 22" scale, (or thereabouts), and sounded great... Some may say that I am partial to Musicmaster's, and well... I am!! :D

my little brother had a 3/4 classical guitar, and it sounded a little floppy. as you'd expect with a short scale bass.

Guitars are already 3/4 scale. short scale guitars are 2/3 scale. ;)

I know someone with a baby taylor acoustic guitar, and it sounds great, but its very bright, and not as full as a full bodied acoustic. They are much more comftorable to play though.

Oh yee of little faith! My '78 Musicmaster is as taut and packs as much punch as a pickled egg!! There is some truth to the stigma about short scale 'muddy-ness', but I associate this more with some of the Gibson EB series basses... If mud is what you're after, (and sometimes it is!), then these excel...

I'm done with the thread-napping... you may continue :D
