(and would have been less cheap if I hadn't put my name on them)

Are you named Mitch? Today could be your lucky day.

3 basses that I made or had made to my specs that I don't need anymore since switching to 5 string.

    Mitch's Jazzmaster Bass ($175)

I ordered this bass to my specifications on aliexpress. I chose the color (on purpose) the headstock shape, pickup config. I replaced the absolutely garbage stock chinese pickup with a dimarzio, I actually don't remember if its an area p or a model p, but it sounds pretty good. I replaced the tuners with hipshot licensed ultralite tuners to alleviate some neck dive. The shamrock decal should come right off, and the irish flag pickguard is some orange and green translucent vinyl over a white pearl pickguard. I have a blue pearl pickguard too, which I will probably find and include, but I just moved, and I don't know where it is right this second, so unless you really want it, I don't explicitely promise to include it.

It probably looks better than it plays, but it looks amazing.

Frustrating ding on the lower front that took out some wood, and I superglued back in place, that doesn't look too awful from far away.

Mitch's PJ Mustang Kit Build ($250) SOLD

I built this bass from a pitbull guitars kit towards the beginning of quarantine. Finish is RIT dye and tung oil (or what was branded tung oil anywhere, apparently buying tung oil doesn't guarantee you tung oil) The decal is a vinyl sticker, it is under the finish, but you might be able to redo it and blend some more tung oil over a new one. Cheap kit pickups replaced with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders.

This one is in good shape, or at least no wear or dings, never really played this out do to covid.

Shallow 9 Mitch Bass Fretless Jazz ($150)

I built this years ago, but my main gig doesn't really call for any fretless playing. I tried to force it but it just wasn't the right fit. Pickups are active EMGs, body is guitarfetish, neck is some chinese no-name brand (I want to say it was EY guitars?) By far the most frustrating thing about this is that the stock side dots on the neck are in-between the positions. I covered the side of the neck in white nail polish to cover the existing ones up, and put new dots on with black nail polish. It looks pretty awful, but the audience doesn't see it. This decal is inkjet sticker paper, and should pretty much come right off. There's a couple really minor dings, and one major one, apparently I need to be more careful with my basses. I really love the color scheme on this one.

Prices include shipping east of the Mississippi. Trades for 5 strings welcome. You might get a clue about the sort of aesthetic I'm into from these basses. No sunburst or natural basses, black or white basses will be frowned upon but considered.

If someone who's name is actually Mitch buys these basses, there ought to be a prize or something.
