3 shots of rum, a telecaster, and a jazz bass tuned to C

  1. I got bored and isolated a drum track from an older recording with a drummer I have been playing with for a while.

30 minutes, Bacardi rum, a custom built tele, and a passive frankenjazz tuned to C.

Enjoy. I am playing everything except drums.

    HARD ROCK/Metal ALERT!!!!

The bass tone is bad ****ing ass. That's how rock/metal bass should sound. :bassist:

Killer tunes. Vocals seem to be in order. Music is great, but not active enough to be left instrumental. So I say have a few more shots and lay down some vocals, or get somebody to, because you should make this a band for certain.

  6. I used to sing in a Pantera/Primus band long ago. I will need to have a bit of a refresh.

BTW this was recorded through a Line6 Guitarport, all of it, including drums. I used Topaz mixer for the mic'd drums into the Guitar Port.

  7. Nice tracks. What are you playing the tele through?

  8. Line 6 emulated Roland Jazz Chorus clean and Marshall JCM 900 hot with overdrive (emulated).

Fender if you were closer I would jam with ya, your stuff is the type of stuff I want to play. You would have to play guitar though, as I suck at it. :p

  12. I need to find a local bass player wanting to play this stuff. I got a killer drummer and singer :)

Man if I ever moved in with my grandparents...I would slam some shots down and play with ya. But don't count on the move happening.

Funny thing is I've been drinking 2-4 shots of seagrum 7s the past couple of nights and playing in drop D.

    Very rockin!

  16. Direct to a Line 6 guitar port, using the emulated tube preamp, and a touch of the "A.I.R." effect to give it a mic'd on a 410 sound. I keep it VERY simple. I have the gain set about 2'oclock. Most of that sound is the BA II on my Jazz and the Vintage and Hot Basslines. I used a tiny bit of compression as well to keep it from getting a digital clip.
