i designed a bass recently and am trying to find how much it will cost, the design however calls for a neck with a scale length of 30", so does anyone know where i could find one online?

Suburban is right make it. I just made one. The spalted bass is 30" scale and I am making another. I use the stewmac 24" truss rod that will give you about 26 frets worth of neck. ..t

I think Allparts make a Danalectro Longhorn replacement neck, but I have no idea of the quality. The guy from Warmoth that posts here (bwbass?) mentioned a while ago that they'd soon be offering 30 and 32" replacement Fender parts.

If it were me, I'd just go to a luthier and get one made the way I wanted though.
