is 300 watts (4ohms) enought to last me a long time, going into a 4x10 and 2x10

no gigging right now just jamming with guitarist, who dosent push really loud
  2. hell yes, i jam with a 80watt 112 combo with just a guitarist, who loves to go loud!! you really don't need it that loud when practising, i am sure there is a sticky about that ear damage (tinnitus???) thing, you should read it.
  3. Im going to be gigging with a 300 watt amp into a 4x10, so yeah :p

(its all tube, so, its ok tho )

actually a 2x10 is good enough to start with.
  5. If you like the way it sounds, it gets as loud as you need it, its fine. Especially for practice. If that won't keep up with the guitar in a basement or practice room, tell him to turn the heck down, he's risking both your hearing and his own.
