What are these strings? I like the feel and tone overall for RW (being a mostly FW player).

When i replace, i dont want to steer far from this string, maybe a bit smoother feel is all but everything else is fine and i 'struggle with RW strings' in general!

The bass is a mid 2000's MIM Fender P bass....thanks in advance!

Sounds like Dean Markley Nickel Blue Steels.

However new ones may not be anything like those, as Dean Markley no longer makes their own strings and have been though a few different companies making strings for them the past few years.

If you have used these strings what do they compare to?

I have not used them since they went through all the changes. Prior to that, they were a good generic sounding Nickel string like Dunlop (regular Dunlop...not SuperBright), RotoSound Roto Nickels, or D'Addario XL.

Thanks....i have a set of slightly used D'Adarrio XL i can replace them with if need be...i could use a bit smoother string overall in a RW...otherwise these seem okay for now.
