Any chance you'd trade for a NS 5-string OmniBass?

I've sent overseas to several countries: Japan, Mexico, Norway, Australia, and France. FORTUNATELY, I've never had a problem. HOWEVER, it is very risky and could be expensive. The cheapest is United States Postal Service, but you have to make sure that they ship to Denmark. The problem is that if the USPS loses something or if it's damaged, they usually take the "too bad, you're screwed" attitude. That's why so many people hate the USPS. So, if you are going to send overseas, ALWAYS send it insured.

UPS and FedEx are sometimes too expensive. DHL might be a bit cheaper, but it all depends on what country it's going to. You will need to shop around for quotes. You can call around but make sure you know the weight and the measurements of the package so you can get a quick quote.

Also, you have to decide whether you will mark the item as a "gift" for customs purposes. I've read that marking the item as a "gift" when it was really a sale is illegal. I don't know what the legal ramifications would be, though. Most international buyers always ask to have their item marked as a "gift" in order to avoid import duties and taxes. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, then you have to make sure you let the buyer know that he/she is responsible for all import duties and taxes upon arrival in their country.

Sometimes the only offers you get are from international buyers. Money is money, but it can also be a pain in the butt. Hope this helps.
