I've got a Lakland 55-94 fretted and I am wondering if the new fretless I get should also be 35" scale. I am not terribly precise on the fretted on close inspection, in that I am not always hugging the frets. Any advice? Can I safely get a 34" and not worry?

I play 34" and 35" fretteds, and 34" fretless. It hasn't caused me too many problems.
