I know SIT makes some. Used them. Loved them. I'm looking to try something else though... Something with more of a true flatwound.

I haven't tried the TI flats but I'm petty sure the low tension would put me off.

I know Sadowsky makes some flats now (that have better tension) but do they come in 35" scale?

    Any other options?

I'll be using them on my Benavente SC5 fretless...

    TIA! :bassist:

    Yes, SBF45BXL.

These strings are for top loading bridges, only.

    Thanks Nino...

Would they work on a bridge such as this?

It should. I'm not sure how much taper ther is on the B. I won't be in the shop til Wed. If you have a chance, give me a call at the shop on Wed to remind me and I'll measure it for you.

Alrighty, I talked to Nino (very nice guy, BTW but we all knew that) and we don't think that the Sadowsky's will jive well with my piezo bridge.

I saw a set of LaBella Deep Talking flats that were extra long. Anybody know if they will work on a 35" scale? What is their tension like?
    TIA! :bassist:

I'm also throwing D'Addario extra-long Chromes into the pot.

    Thoughts? Comments? :help:
