35" scale Top-loading bridge Quite cheap ; ideas?

    Hoping to get hold of something to try the F# tuning thing on.

    Peavey Cirrus and Yamaha BTB have been mentioned but the bridge arrangement doesn't seem ideal.

    Any other ideas guys?

    Doesn't the Cirrus have a top loading bridge?

    That's a BXP- I don't know what kind of bridge they normally have- I was just speaking of the "regular" Cirrus model.

    I spent a long time playing both before deciding that the MTD was the one for me, but not by a lot.

    Probably wouldn't go so far as to buy that new but will look out for it S/H.

    Do you down tune yours or just keep things sensible?

    I'm afraid I keep it sensible, BEADG, but I think the bridge should cope okay as the strings just slot in from the side.
