350 Hours Labor

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by FL Knifemaker, Jun 4, 2007.

  1. I just had to show this one off!! I know there are a few knife nuts here ;)

Knifemaker and forumite John Lewis Jensen just posted this beauty on our Knife & Gun forum. He is a true artist! I can't wait to see it and push the button on it at our show this weekend!!

    "Cello Ghost"

Cello Ghost is a modern masterpiece, in the classic symetrical switchblade style, yet with the unmistakable mark of a Jensen knife. This knife features four different patterns of Damascus Steel, each finished differently, along with seven different colors of anodized Titanium throughout. Nine fancy, AAA grade, Yellow Sapphires set in polished 18k royal yellow Gold, and 32 Blue Sapphires set in glass bead-blasted 18k royal yellow Gold. The liners also feature additional Blue Sapphires set in 18k royal yellow gold inside the blade pocket. The Spine features 3 panels of 22k Rose Gold and Sterling Silver Mokume-Gane inlays. This knife comes with both an exotic wood display box of Redwood Burl, and Wenge for the desk, and a zippered Stingray leather case for pocket carrying. 103 parts total: nine moving parts. Physical weight of the piece is 5.3 ounces. Total Karat weight on Sapphires: 4.33. Open length: 8 1/8" Closed length: 4 5/8". Over 350 hours of labor.

If I ever wanted to stab someone, that's what I'd use. Very nice.

If I got stabbed with that, I'd not say "%$#* you, you %$#*ing stabbed me," I'd say, "Wow, thats a %$#*ing awesome knife! Where did you get-gurgle-cough- *die*." That's just legendary.

Do people really use knives like that or do they spend their lives in a glass case in someone's coffee table?

I would be honoured to be shanked by a knife like that.

  7. That is a seriously sweet knife, though honestly, I like your knives better.
