Of course Fred, you realize that at this rate no-one will ever believe you again if you post a "look at the new -insert brand here- bass I just bought" thread. How do we KNOW it's real?

that's the best compliment a 3D guy can get.

my day job as a product designer yields painfully accurate Pro/Engineer models which beg 3D rendering in 3DSMAX.

when i show them to the marketing/sales types, they think they are production tooled and ready to ship!

i am then ordered to stop rendering preliminary product, and get back to work.

at least the guitar guys can appreciate them.

  8. Ok hot shot, beautiful bass but it is nothing more than a boat paddle at present. We want tuners, strings, pickups, knobs.

    Get busy.

  9. Hey Fred, couldya add some greasy fingerprints and some clumpy fuzzballs in the nooks and crannys and some nicks and dings and scratches and those string marks on the pickups?

I don't think your work looks like the real thing at all. :scowl: :D

Nice grout job on that tile, fred. Should I call you to do my bathroom remodel?

No, the scale's no good on that design -with a tile that size, I could only fit about four or five of them to cover the whole floor. Wouldn't look right. You think that pattern is available in a smaller size? ;)

i can fit plenty of this size tile in my kitchen alone.

don't blame the design for your inability to afford sufficient accomodations.

Sure - I try to goad you into doing another render for no particular reason, and you come back with an offensive remark about my income.

    j/k
