I don't know why I can't wrap my head around the 4+1 headstock on my latest bass. I keep turning the wrong key when tuning the bass. My other basses are 3+2 and 5-in-line, but still you'd think I'd get it by now.

This has been an important message from bored me. :bassist:

    I personally can't stand 3+1 configs on 4 strings.

    2+2 is my fav.

    I prefer 4+3 :D
  4. 4+1 looks hideous. it's so...non-symmetrical.
    3+1 isn't as bad. i do prefer 2+2 though. symmetry rocks.:p

I would like to see a 1x5. ya know, one on top and 5 on the bottom kinda thing.... yah....and uh.....an inline 8 Fender headstock.....on some crazy P-bass with an MM in the bridge position. with 36 frets.

I often think I am more destined to become a builder rather than a player.... building the worlds first 8 string P bass with an MM...and a J in the neck position....and....a 9 band graphic EQ....with a body that looks kinda like this, with the head pictured next to it.

    Muhahah! thread murder! muhahaha!

Yes, those were once pics off the Warmoth site, then I took them and brutally massacred them with Microsoft Paint. Ph3aR mY l33+ pAiNt sKiLLz.
