Ok, I have a GK 700RB head and 2 swr 4x8 cabs. I find that with one, my sound is great, clear and punchy and even. I figured adding another would just give me more of a good thing, but I find that even though it gives me more volume, the sound isn't as even from note to note, especially in the high register. My head is 350 watts; is that not enough power or might it be something else? The volume itself is fine so I'm not sure.

id bet its just having 8 speakers.... you know single driver cabs are more focused than multiple ones, thats why 1x12's are becoming so popular, IMHO.

btw, if you want to unload one of em... PM me.

Actually I think that the 4x8 is one of the most focused cabs I've tried so that's kinda why I'm confused. I'm not sure if I'll sell it or not yet.
