5 piece neck dimensions?

    Suppose you are building a 5 piece neck through, what dimensions do you guys usually go with for each piece?

    You might want to include width at the nut and heel that you want to end up with in your question....t

    I was thinking 1.75 wide at the nut, 2.75 wide at 24th fret

    I aim for about 40% purpleheart and 60% maple and taper the pieces so the ratio stays the same for the full length
