5 string acoustic bass-can you even hear the B string?

    That's about it. I play nothing but 5 string electrics, and I want to get an acoustic. I can't imagine that the B string could even be heard acoustically. What do you guys know about this?

    I have A Sweet kelly dragonfly and no I cannot hea the b acoustically.....it is even fairly quiet when amplified.

    I actually do not use it that much (not as much as I do on my electrics)

    I have an Ibanez 32 scale 5-string and the B is nothing to write home about either acoustic or amplified.
